Week 1A: Blog Theme
Hey class the blog theme that I chose is travel. The reason why I chose travel as my theme is because I love to travel and want to continue to travel. The last two years have been really rough because I have not been able to travel anywhere because of COVID but hopefully that changes at the end of this year. I am originally from Chicago I would usually go home twice a year but I have not been able to go home since January of 2020. I plan on posting pictures of my trip back home once I go and I also plan on posting about all the great food I have missed out on.
For the mean time I plan to go to Tijuana to visit family which I guess counts as travel. I planned to go to Ensenada Mexico next month, which I will post about once I get back. I love going to Mexico but the border towns seem to be a little dangerous especially in recent years. I have uncles and cousins who live down there so that is why I am going down, if it were not for them I would not go. I want my blog to be about the places I visit and the food I eat because those are my two favorite things to do.
The only real edits I did to my blog was the width of the home screen. The reason why I did this is because I want the background picture to be more visible especially when I decide to change it to a picture I take. I also changed the colors of some of the words in my blog because I really like gray and blue colors when reading them on a computer screen. I don't like to look at the bright colored words of a computer screen it makes my eyes hurt. I'm excited to start this class and begin posting more blogs on my page. I might also post about some of my favorite areas in San Diego, my dog Dojo might also make an appearance.
Hi Manny! I think it's great that you enjoy traveling. Definitely something I wished I took more advantage of before starting my own family. Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures of San Diego. I've only explored north county since moving here.
ReplyDeleteHello Emmanuel. Travelling and eating the food of the places you go to are amazing experiences and definitely a great topic to blog about. I wish I could travel more and visit other countries and eat the food there. I hope that your family stays safe and that you stay safe too if and when you visit them.

ReplyDeleteI'm from Chicago too and look forward to looking at your trip photos, especially pictures of Chicago-style pizza. So do you prefer Gino's or Uno's? Lou Manalti's or Giordano's?
Very imaginative-looking theme. I used to love travel and took all sorts of travel classes years ago through San Diego Community College District back when I lived in OB/Point Loma. Cruising was my hobby in the eighties. But after 9/11, travelling became kind of a hassle compared to before. The Pandemic certainly didn't help. I hope you get to travel safely soon.
